Data API (v1)

Read-only access to River Monitor data for Pro accounts. Create a key on My account and send it in the X-API-Key header. Add ?format=csv for a CSV download where an endpoint supports it.

These are satellite estimates, not official measurements. Don't use them for safety, navigation or flood-warning decisions. Endpoints under /beta/ are beta tools with low confidence. Every beta response carries "beta": true, "confidence": "low", "validated": false.

Limits depend on your plan and are returned in X-RateLimit-* headers. Going over returns HTTP 429 with Retry-After. Keys are stored only as a hash. Revoke a key any time from My account.
